This lens hood was designed to precisely fit camera lenses with a standard ISO metric thread. Ideal for blocking stray light, improving the contrast of your shots, and protecting your front lens against light impacts. If this model is useful to you, feel free to leave a Like, download it, and give me a Boost 🚀! This helps me enormously to share other technical designs. Recommended nozzle: 0.2 mm to achieve perfect sharpness on the fine thread. My print with the 0.4 went perfectly well. Layer height: Fine (0.10 mm or 0.12 mm) to maximize screw-in fluidity. 0.12 is good. Filament: PETG. PLA doesn't deform but with time… Color: Matte black is essential to avoid unwanted internal reflections inside the lens hood. Infill: 20% (Gyroid recommended) Walls: 3 or 4 for good structural rigidity. Supports: No supports required if printed in the correct orientation (thread facing upwards). Print with the thread facing up. Screw gently onto the front of your lens without forcing initially to properly engage the thread. I am uploading the 77 and 58mm but ask me for the sizes you would like.
