Looking for a safe and reliable holster for your Yaesu VX-6R?
This holster is the ticket.
The front panel has cutouts to enable access to the buttons, microphone and speaker. The sides have slots for access to the buttons and charging port. A retention clip on the top keep and a detent on top of the battery keep the radio from accidentally falling out and from rattling inside the case.
Current clips/loops:
1" Clip for attaching to MOLLE
2.25in loop with 0.25" internal clearance for duty belts
No Clip (flat back with no attachment features)
The bottom of the holster was designed to provide a secure building platform and position the holster at a 30 degree angle to increase strength.
Design has been tested in PETG and the 1" Clip version will likely hold up the best in that material due to improved flexibility. Other versions should be fine in PLA+ (not tested).
