Introducing the perfect blend of chunky cuteness and pure, relatable exasperation: the British Shorthair "Too Chunky for This" Edition from our exclusive 6-Breed Facepalm Cat Collection! This adorable, plump British Shorthair figurine is captured in an elegant facepalm pose, with its paws covering its eyes, perfectly embodying those moments of "I just can’t."
Part of a 6-Breed Collection! This British Shorthair is just one proud member of a full feline pack. We've created 6 different cat breeds, each with its own unique personality, fur texture, and humorous facepalm pose. Collect them all to create your own council of exasperated cats! Be sure to check out the rest of the weary crew on my profile to complete your set.
Whether you're looking for a charming decor piece, a delightful gift for a cat lover, or just a fun, sturdy little desk pet to mirror your own feelings, this "Too Chunky" British Shorthair is the ideal choice. The design features highly detailed but short fur textures that make it look incredibly soft and round when printed, with the intricate face preserved beneath the heavy pose. It is optimized for FDM 3D printing, featuring a stable base and satisfying geometry. The images provided include a slicer view showing the specific model in brown and gray material.
Recommended Print Profile
- Material: High-quality PLA (Matte gray, as seen in image_8.png, terracotta, or wood-fill filaments look fantastic to highlight the dense fur detail).
- Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm is recommended to capture all the fine fur texture details.
- Supports: Largely self-supporting, but light supports under the overhanging paw and face are recommended for standard printers. Tree supports are highly effective here and easy to remove without damaging the fur detail.
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Grid or Gyroid).
- Perimeters/Walls: 2-3 walls.
- Print Speed: Slower speeds (e.g., 50mm/s, with outer walls at 25-30mm/s) are recommended to maintain detail resolution in the fur.
- Nozzle: 0.4mm.
- Scale: The standard file size is perfectly scaled for a chunky desk pet, but can easily be scaled up or down.
