Description
I bought a MALM cabinet with three drawers from Ikea and needed to put it on wheels. So I created transport wheel holders from Lidl that mount to the bottom of the cabinet. The white plastic legs and the metal L profiles from the front bottom rail are removed from the cabinet. This bracket is installed instead. The holder can be secured using classic screws from the underside into the prepared holes in the holder. The total height of the cabinet after installing the wheels is 78.5 cm
The red posts on the model are only helpful and can be simply cut off after printing. I printed it on X2D and it helped with the stabilization on the multi-material support.
The holders could most likely fit other versions of MALM cabinets.
