Description
Replacement Lid for CEE Caravan Inlet Socket (3D Print)
This precisely fitting replacement lid for the CEE socket on the caravan was faithfully recreated from the original in detail. The design accounts for the original spring, but can also be used entirely without the spring if needed.
🛠️ Assembly Instructions
- Disassembly: To replace the lid, the retaining pin/rod must be driven out. In most cases, this is done to the right (in the direction of the spring).
- Assembly: Attach the new lid and reinsert the pin from right to left.
- Precision Fit: The lid is deliberately designed to fit a bit tighter than the original. If you prefer a looser fit, you can easily readjust this in Bambu Studio (or your preferred slicer) via the XY Size Compensation.
🖨️ Print Settings (Optimized .3mf Profile)
The provided .3mf file is already pre-configured for optimal print results. To print the lid's curves visually perfect and clean, the model is printed with support structures.

Tip: Since the lid is permanently exposed to weather and UV radiation, the use of a high-quality ASA or PETG filament is strongly recommended. Regular PLA is not dimensionally stable long-term for outdoor caravan use.
