This Yoshi edition was specially designed in a completely flat-back format, making it easier to print, cleaner for keychains, and very AMS-friendly with a simple and efficient color setup.
Unlike the premium articulated-back version available on Patreon, this MakerWorld release focuses on:
- easy printing
- lower AMS complexity
- fast production
- strong visual recognition
Perfect for keychains, fairs, gifts, and quick multi-print batches.
The articulated “full shell” version with the detailed back is available on Patreon for members who want the more premium edition.

Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.12 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Wall Generator: Arachne
- Supports: No
- Infill: 10% to 15%
Recommended materials:
- PLA or PLA+
- Avoid matte PLA on articulated parts for better durability
AMS Friendly Trick 🎨
This model also includes an alternative plate optimized for 4-color AMS users.
Using a simple filament pause during the print, you can achieve 5 distinct colors with only 4 AMS slots:
- The red filament is used first for the back details
- At mid-height, you can pause the print
- Replace the red filament with black
- The black is then used later for the eyes
This allows:
- 5-color final result
- only 4 AMS slots required
- lower filament waste
- easier printing setup
A simple trick, but very effective for AMS users 🙂
