Three parts. One cube. Endlessly satisfying.
A geometric cube that splits horizontally into three interlocking parts. Print them separately, snap them together, pull them apart — and repeat. The fit is just right: tight enough to feel deliberate, loose enough to slide apart with one hand. It's the kind of object you'll keep reaching for on your desk.
The surfaces feature a concentric square pattern on the top and bottom faces, with clean parallel ridges along the sides. Once assembled, the seams almost disappear and you're left with a striking, solid-looking geometric cube.
🎨 Two Sizes, Two Tolerances

Not sure which to pick? Start with 50mm Loose — it's the most balanced experience. Want a satisfying snap with no wobble? Go 50mm Tight. Want something portable? Print the 30mm.
🌈 Print It in Multiple Colors
This design shines when you print each of the 3 parts in a different color. The horizontal split lines become a feature instead of a seam — see the cover photo for the pink + blue + pink combo. Some great combos to try:
- Pink + Blue + Pink (cover photo)
- Black + White + Black
- Three shades of the same color for a gradient effect
- Three completely different colors for maximum pop
No AMS / multi-material printer required — just swap filament between the three prints.

Print each part flat on its largest face. PLA works great. No glue, no fasteners — just print, peel, and snap together.
💡 Tips
- Middle part has a brim added by default, even if printed tests didnt have issues with adhesion without it. I would recommend to add full brim to all parts if printed on A1 and A1 mini (bed-slingers)
- Print all 3 parts at the same layer height and similar print settings so the tolerances stay consistent.
- If your printer is well-tuned, the Tight version is incredibly satisfying. If you're not sure how dialed-in your printer is, go Loose first.
- Make a few and gift them — they're a perfect "what do I print for someone?" project.
