Alexander VI (Roderic Llançol i de Borja) – Bust

Alexander VI, born Roderic Llançol i de Borja — better known by the Italianized name Rodrigo Borgia — was one of the most famous and controversial popes of the Renaissance. Elected pope in 1492, he became closely associated with the power of the Borgia family, the political struggles of Renaissance Italy, and the major cultural and artistic transformations of the late 15th century. A complex historical figure, he left a lasting mark through both his political influence and the fascinating legacy preserved in Renaissance chronicles and artworks.

This 3D printed bust is inspired by the most iconic depictions of Alexander VI, particularly the well-known profile portraits painted during his pontificate. The sculptural interpretation faithfully captures his distinctive features: the heavy facial structure, pronounced nose, tight lips, and imposing silhouette characteristic of Italian Renaissance portraiture. Strong volumes and carved lines emphasize the solemn and authoritative presence of the character in a classical style specifically designed for 3D printing
