Description

It was exciting to work on real models and make them work. And so I decided to create something of my own.

Meet my first own development. B.U.G - Big Ugly Gun.

IMPORTANT!

The model is not a weapon — it's a toy, but it can be dangerous. Take safety precautions, do not shoot at people or animals, and use protective eyewear. Make sure your local laws permit the creation of such devices.

You can use any AR-15 stile Grips and stock with Pycattini guides.

I use this

Bill Of Materials

You don't have to strictly follow the size of the springs; you can use any that fit. Don't use a spring that is too strong for the striker

Compression spring 8x140mm

Compression spring 4x10mm

Compression spring 5x15mm

Compression spring 5x25mm

M4 Nut - 4

M3 Nut - 6

M6 Nut - 1

M4x12 Screw  - 2

M4x6 Screw - 2

M3x14 Machine screw - 2

M3x20 Machine screw - 3

M3x12 Machine screw - 1

M6x 16 Screw - 1

Filaments:

Frame - Petg-CF

I prefer composite materials because of their texture, but you can also use regular PLA or PETG

Bolt and extractor - I recomend PA-CF, you can use any materal

Barrel PETG-CF, ABS-CF, PA-CF(Optional).

Grip, magazine sight, handle, pins - Any

Connectors and trigger mechanism - PETG

Magazine spring - only PETG

Striker - PETG-CF, PA-CF(Optional)

The gun assembles quite easily, and I don't really feel like making an assembly video. I think a simple manual will be enough.

Irecommend sanding.

I recommend sanding all the parts that rub against each other. It's also advisable to smooth out the barrel channel. Ideally, the bullet should pass through with minimal resistance but not loosely

A more detailed description and assembly instructions will be available later.

P.S.

This is my first full-fledged weapon model, and it certainly has many flaws and imperfections. Many things could probably be done simpler and better. So I'm uploading the .stp file so you can make improvements yourselves
