Printing Recommendations

Material:

• Standard PLA works perfectly.
• Generic slicer profiles (0.16–0.20 mm layer height) are more than enough.
• No AMS required — the model is optimized for single‑color printing. For the wings that look like it needs ams recommend manual swap of white to orange to get the two color option. simply put a pause, switch and you are good to go. However, if you do have an ams system, this will be very easy. 

Supports:

• Most users can print Derpynite support‑free depending on orientation.
• If your printer struggles with small overhangs, light tree supports under the chin or tail tip may help.

Infill:

• 10–15% is plenty for stability.
• Increase to 20% if you want a heavier, more solid figure.

Assembly Notes

Derpynite includes small “claw/nail” accessory pieces for added detail.

• Remove each small piece individually from the build plate to avoid snapping or losing them.
• Dry‑fit before gluing — the sockets are intentionally snug.
• A tiny dab of super glue or PLA‑safe adhesive is all you need.
