Description

Designed specifically for the JBL Wave Buds charging case, this protective sleeve-style case was modeled for flexible TPU 95A filament to provide a soft-touch feel, improved grip, and protection without adding bulk.

 

The case uses a two-piece design:

  • a form-fitting lower sleeve
  • and a flexible snap-over top cap

The interior was shaped to better match the curved profile of the original charging case for improved fit and retention while maintaining easy removal.

 

Small thumb tabs were intentionally added to both ends of the lid to make removal easier and improve grip when popping the top cap off the case.

 

Printed by object. I found that if the lid has too much time to sit on the hot plate while the case is being printed, it can deform more.

 

NOTE: I have added a PETG print profile. This print profile allows for a snap-fit/press-fit lid instead of the flexfit lid the TPU profile utilizes.
