Description

I designed this Vertical/ Modular Dremel tool wall mount system around my Dremel 4300 kit and Flex-shaft attachment. It's designed to keep the Rotary tool, with Flex-shaft and accessories cleanly secured to the wall, while also holding the running Dremel in a comfortable position while using the Flex-shaft.

This is a 3 piece kit, consisting of a Wall Mounting Plate, Rotary Tool Holder and Accessory Organizer. I've made the Rotary Tool Holder, and Accessory Organizer as removable inserts.  I also included a separate, more compact version of the wall plate that excludes the Accessory Org insert's interfacing lips, if anyone just wants the Rotary tool and Flex-shaft mounting capability.

WALL MOUNTING PLATE

 W ( 245mm ( 9.65in ) x H ( 210mm ( 8.27in ) x D  ( 5mm ( .197in )

4, countersunk mounting holes for #6 or smaller screws. Right side of front face has integrated upper and lower,  “snap-in” interface points for Flex-shaft attachment while the left side has a slide-in locking interface for the Tool Holder cup to lock into. In the middle is the slide-in seating lips for the Accessory Organizer insert.

WALL MOUNTING PLATE COMPACT VERSION

W ( 200mm ( 7.87in ) x H ( 160mm  ( 6.3in ) x  D ( 5mm )

Same plate but excludes the Accessory Organizer interface and has the above listed smaller dimensions.

ROTARY TOOL HOLDER INSERT

W ( 60mm ( 2.4in ) x  H ( 116.9mm ( 4.6in ) x D ( 68mm ( 2.68in )

Removable, Cup-shaped, vertical holder for Dremel 4300 tool ( or similar sized ) with ventilation. Dremel slides into top for a snug fit, with split face front for easy access to controls for power and chuck lock. Ventilation holes provide passage for motor exhaust air while still maintaining rigidity. The holder is easily removeable if one wants to take the Tool elsewhere or hang it vertically using the stock hangar on the tool itself, they can without removing tool from the holder cup.

ACCESSORY ORGANIZER INSERT

W ( 139mm ( 5.48in ) x H ( 189.9mm ( 7.48in ) x D ( 55.4mm ( 2.18in )

Slide-in organizer panel with fitted stacking storage for Multiple, Standard sized Rotary tool consumables and bits. Including E-Z cut 1.5" discs and smaller, Sanding pads, Polishing heads, Sanding heads, Tool wrench slot, and a small shelf for collets, chucks and other misc. Three protruding knobs on top are for push fitting some of the attachments that come with the Dremel 4300 kit.

This kit can likely be used with other model Tools, but this is sized to my 4300. If your Dremel or rotary tool has a diameter close to 53.5mm (this holders internal width) then yours may fit. If it doesn't, try scaling or even send me the dimensions and I can possibly make a version for your model/make.

I printed this in PET-G and highly recommend you do as well, this design  requires flexibility, at least for the tool insert.

Message me any issues or ideas.
