Mercedes Benz C-Class Cover Pin for Engine Cover/ECU Cover

Replacement retaining clips / pins for engine or ECU cover

The original retaining pins on my cover broke off, so I designed these replacement parts. They are intended to be glued onto the existing cover to restore proper mounting.

Print recommendations

  • Material: ABS recommended
  • Use sufficient wall thickness or infill
  • PLA is not recommended due to heat exposure

Installation

  1. Lightly sand the damaged area on the cover
  2. Clean and degrease the surface
  3. Lightly sand the printed part as well
  4. Glue it in place using 2-part epoxy adhesive
  5. Allow the adhesive to fully cure

Works great for me and the cover is mounted securely again.
