HOW TO CUSTOMIZE
Click the green "Customize" button on MakerWorld, type your preferred name or word in the "name" field, then click "GENERATE" to see your model take shape.
3 STYLE MODES
- SIMPLE → Clean and classic 3D letters, minimalist look
- TOPPER → Thick base with embossed letters, elegant two-color effect perfect for multi-color AMS printing
- ZIGZAG → Alternating letters for a dynamic and fun effect (with 2 directions to choose from: height or depth)
2 HOLE ORIENTATIONS
- HORIZONTAL → For slipping on pencils, pens, straws
- VERTICAL → To use as a pencil holder, pen holder, or candle holder
The hole diameter is adjustable from 3mm (for toothpicks) up to 45mm (for tea-light candles), with customizable tolerance for easy insertion.
FONTS TO CHOOSE FROM
In the “font_name” field, you should see the “…” icon, click on it and select the font you like best!
COLOR OPTIONS
- Primary and secondary colors for two-color printing (AMS)
- "Alternating colors" mode to change color for each letter (perfect for multi-color printing!)
ADJUSTABLE SPACING
Smart automatic spacing + manual adjustment for total control over the name's appearance.
PRINTING TIPS
- Layer height: 0.20mm
- Walls: 3
- Infill: 15-20%
- Supports: needed from the build plate (for the horizontal hole)
- Filament: standard PLA (PLA Matte recommended for a premium finish)
- AMS compatible for breathtaking multi-color prints
TWO-COLOR PRINTING WITH AMS
In "Topper" and "Alternating Colors" modes, you can utilize AMS to create spectacular 2-color prints:
- Base of one color + letters of another (embossed effect)
- Letters alternating in 2 different colors
TIPS
- For names with detached letters (especially cursive), adjust the "border thickness" parameter until they merge
- For different fonts, adjust "manual spacing" if needed
- Increase "curve quality" for smoother finishes
