Wall T-Rex – Dinosaur Head Wall Mount
With the Wall T-Rex – Dinosaur Head Wall Mount you bring an impressive T-Rex head directly to your wall.
The model features a roaring dinosaur head with an open mouth, sharp teeth, and a highly textured surface. The many details are particularly well highlighted and make the head a real eye-catcher for dino fans, gaming rooms, workshops, hobby rooms, or as an extraordinary wall decoration.
On the back there is a suitable hole for top mount, so the T-Rex head can be easily hung.
My printed example was treated with gold drybrushing after printing. This particularly highlights the skin texture, wrinkles, and details, giving the model a dark, metallic-fossil look. Of course, the T-Rex can also be painted realistically, for example with classic dino colors, bone optics, or a dark fantasy style.
Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 6 %
- Supports: Yes, especially in the area of the teeth and mouth
- Top mount: Hole available on the back
Notes on Removing Supports
The supports should be removed with patience and care, especially in the area of the teeth.
The teeth are more delicate, so it's best to work slowly and not use too much force.
Small unsightly spots that appeared due to the supports were carefully post-processed by me with a small gas torch. Heat it very briefly and carefully so that the material does not deform.
After post-processing, I finished the model with gold drybrushing. This really brings out the entire structure.
Print Profile Description
Printed with 0.2 mm layer height and 6 % infill.
Supports are needed, especially in the area of the mouth and teeth. Please remove the supports there carefully and with patience.
On the back there is a suitable hole to attach the T-Rex head to the wall.
After printing, the model can be painted very well. In my example, gold drybrushing was used, which makes the details and the strong surface structure particularly visible.
