In the RC modeling world, HPI Racing is an iconic brand known for its high-performance vehicles, competitive spirit, and models that have become cult favorites among enthusiasts. Whether for drift, off-road, or pure speed, HPI Racing has embodied the passion for driving and high-performance RC for years.
This lightbox features the famous HPI Racing logo in a dynamic and immediately recognizable design. The contrast between bright orange, deep black, and white creates a strong visual presence that directly evokes the racing world and the adrenaline of RC tracks. The elongated lines of the logo reinforce the impression of speed and give this piece a modern and sporty style.
Once illuminated, the light enhances the colors and accentuates the contours with a homogeneous and striking luminous effect. Perfect for a workshop, a room dedicated to modeling, or an RC setup, this lightbox brings a true racing and passionate atmosphere.
About the lighting:
💡 For lighting, I use a complete LED kit, simple to install and perfectly suited to my models.
👉 the Bambu USB LED strip kit is good, otherwise any type of strip is compatible

✨ Tip: To improve light diffusion, I recommend adding a piece of aluminum adhesive tape to the bottom of the box. The result is more homogeneous and brighter!
🧴 Assembly is done using contact adhesive, like Bison type (available at Action).
🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D printing:
Carefully clean your print bed before each print. Grease residue, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachments.
Check bed calibration: a well-leveled bed ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer.
Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or a specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak).
Correctly set the bed temperature to promote adhesion depending on the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.).
Reduce the print speed for the first layer: a slower speed allows for better filament adhesion to the print bed.
Plan for a «skirt» or a «brim» in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping.
