You know the problem: the kids don't want to ride anymore, or the way is too long, and suddenly you have to stow the balance bike or small children's bike in the cargo bike. This specially designed hook allows you to hang the balance bike on the box of your cargo bike, saving space. This leaves valuable space inside for groceries or the kids!

💡 Why print it yourself?

Commercial mounts for cargo bikes are often extremely expensive to buy. With this design, you can make an equally functional solution yourself for a fraction of the cost.

• Material consumption: Only approx. 77g filament per hook!
• Savings: Compared to purchased solutions, you save real money here and can even customize the hook's color to match your bike if needed.

🛠️ Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the necessary stability for the weight of the balance bike and the vibrations during the ride, I have optimized the following settings:

• Wall lines: 4 (Important for the load-bearing capacity of the hook)
• Infill: 30% Gyroid (Provides the best structural integrity)
• Material: I recommend PETG, ASA or ABS (due to UV resistance for outdoor use).

This hook is currently still in the testing phase. Since every cargo bike and every balance bike has different dimensions, I rely on your help to perfect the design!

Assembly Note:

Make sure that the balance bike is securely seated and does not obstruct your cargo bike's steering. Use at your own risk. It is best to first test the hold on a quiet stretch.
