Did your original plastic bed slat clips snap? This 3D-printable replacement is a heavy-duty, reinforced alternative designed for maximum durability and easy installation.

This regulator connects two slats together, allowing you to fine-tune the firmness of your bed's lumbar zone. Slide them toward the edges to stiffen the support, or toward the center for more flex.

I have prepared three separate print profiles, each fine-tuned for specific material properties. All profiles use vertical orientation to ensure the perimeter strength is high enough to withstand the tension of the slats.

  1. šŸš€ PLA Profile:
    • Best for a quick fix and maximum rigidity.
    • Optimized for high adhesion and increased wall count to compensate for PLA's brittleness.
  2. šŸ’Ŗ PETG Profile (Recommended):
    • The ideal choice for long-term use.
    • Offers the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, preventing the clip from snapping under dynamic loads.
  3. 🧬 TPU Profile:
    • For an "unbreakable" solution.
    • High wall count and infill settings ensure it stays firm while providing silent, squeak-free operation.

  1. Choose the profile matching your loaded filament.
  2. After printing, ensure the inner surfaces are smooth.
  3. Slide onto the pair of slats and adjust to your preferred firmness.
