China's 'JH-7A', known as the 'New Flying Leopard' fighter jet, is a twin-engine, two-seat supersonic fighter-bomber developed independently by China. The JH-7A is an improved version of the JH-7, possessing supersonic and all-weather combat capabilities. It has a fuselage length of 21 meters, a wingspan of 12.8 meters, a height of 6.22 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 28.5 tons, a maximum payload of 10 tons, a range exceeding 3500 kilometers, a level flight speed exceeding Mach 1.7, and a combat radius of over 1600 kilometers. Its maiden flight was in 2002.
This design is based on online images.
The total design length is approximately 300mm, and the wingspan is approximately 210mm.
Retractable front and rear landing gear, openable cockpit, with two seats, movable flaps, etc., offering high playability. Good printing results, and relatively simple assembly.
Test prints used Bambu PETG and PLA materials; PLA showed better actual results. Due to small circular holes and cylindrical parts, minor deformations and material stacking are unavoidable in 3D printing, and simple repairs may be needed during assembly. For loose part connections, adhesive can be applied as appropriate.
There are many printed parts, so patience is required for assembly.
The model contains small parts; children under 6 years old are strictly prohibited from printing and assembling it.
