Description

Kia Sportage NQ5 – Rear Seat Centre Armrest Enlarged Cup Holder

The factory rear-seat centre armrest cup holders in the Kia Sportage NQ5 are tiny—only around 65 mm in diameter. They’re essentially useless for modern drink bottles, especially for kids in the back seat.

This design was created out of necessity.

The enlarged cup holder plugs directly into the original 65 mm recess and expands the usable opening to 80 mm, comfortably fitting most kids’ water bottles (around 4 out of 5 in our house) and even a 500 ml Monster can for the older kids.

The interior features a tapered base that funnels down to a 6 mm drainage hole, allowing condensation or cleaning water to escape instead of pooling. A thick 5 mm wall ensures the holder is sturdy enough to survive rough handling from energetic passengers.

Key Features

  • Base diameter: 65 mm (fits factory armrest recess)
  • Cup opening diameter: 80 mm
  • Wall thickness: 5 mm for durability
  • Drainage: Tapered bottom with 6 mm drain hole
  • Strong and kid-proof design

Print Info

  • Weight: 132.83 g
  • Print time: ~4 hours on a Bambu Lab X2D with top layer ironing.

Bonus Tip

When printing with tree supports, the clean break-away support makes an excellent raised coaster.
Just print a 5 mm thick, 90 mm diameter coaster and glue it to the top surface where the tree support was attached.
