K&M Cat Window Lounger Knob Part Replacement

This is a 3D printable replacement knob for the K&M cat window lounger/perch suction cup mount. If your original knob is cracked, stripped, missing, or just not tightening well anymore, this part is designed to replace it without needing to buy a whole new perch. This is supposed to match as close as possible to the original knob.

The knob is meant to thread onto the existing perch screw and help secure the window-mounted shelf back into place.

Use case:
Replacement tightening knob for the K&M cat window lounger/perch suction cup assembly.

Printing notes:
Print in a strong material like PETG or ABS if the perch sits in direct sunlight, since PLA may soften over time near a warm window. A higher wall count is recommended for better thread strength. I printed it in PLA but my window doesn't get much if any sunlight. I also made it at a 45 deg angle as to not have the layers in line with the threads and thread post.

Important:
This is a functional replacement part, so fit may vary slightly depending on printer calibration, filament shrinkage, and the condition of the original hardware. Test carefully before letting your cat use the perch again. Cat safety first, ability to loaf second.
