Project Details & Optimization
To make a print of this scale manageable, the model is divided into 4 print plates. This organization optimizes volume management and ensures a smooth printing process from start to finish. For the prototype shown, I used Marble-effect PLA, which gives the rider a monumental look, beautifully accentuating the suit's armor, stitching, and helmet lines.
Print Settings & Expert Tips
- Supports: Engineered to be placed only where strictly necessary. They are calibrated for easy removal ("snap-off"), leaving the surfaces clean and ready for display.
- Infill:
- To save time and material, you can go as low as 6%.
- Pro Recommendation: I suggest setting the infill to 10% to provide the statue with a more premium weight and a solid feel.
- Detail Quality: The model is high-resolution, ensuring that every detail comes through crisp and clear, even on large-scale prints.
