A-10 30mm Shell Casing
This 3D model is based on a real spent 30mm shell casing that I have on display in my room, most likely fired from an A-10 Warthog’s GAU-8/A Avenger cannon. I modeled this replica to resemble the size and shape of the original casing as closely as possible while still being easy to 3D print. (model in picture is scaled down to 85%) The main difference is the wall thickness, since the real shell casing is made of metal.
This print is intended as a non-functional display prop for collectors, aviation fans, military enthusiasts, cosplay, desk decoration, or educational displays. It is not designed or intended for use with any real weapons or ammunition.
