Description
Protect your EV charging cable from getting crushed by the garage door.
This EV cable pass-through protector is designed for ChargePoint chargers and other similar EV charging cables. It creates a protected channel for the cable to safely pass under the garage door while helping reduce stress and wear caused by the door pressing directly on the cord.
One of the biggest advantages of this design is its multi-orientation functionality. Depending on how your charging setup is routed, the protector can be positioned in different orientations to better match your cable direction and garage layout.

Recommended Materials:
- PETG (recommended)
- ASA / ABS for hotter environments
- PLA for mild indoor conditions
Suggested Print Settings:
- 0.20 mm layer height
- 15% rectilinear infill
- Increase infill if additional strength is desired
- No supports required
15% rectilinear infill has worked well during testing while still keeping print time and material usage reasonable.
Important:
Always inspect charging cables regularly for wear or damage. This model helps reduce cable stress and crushing but should still be used responsibly and checked periodically.
