Description
Bring the energy of a true trainer to your drinks with this Pokekoozie inspired by classic Pokeballs: a koozie designed not only to look incredible, but also to print well and work really well in everyday life.
What started as a fun design ended up becoming a much more elaborate project after multiple prototypes, fit tests, and real can measurements to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.
The interior geometry has been carefully adjusted to achieve a firm and stable fit, while maintaining comfortable can insertion. After many diameter and tolerance tests, this is the final result and incorporates:
- Double air chamber between the can and the outer wall to improve insulation
- Lightweight structure with 8% infill, maintaining very good rigidity
- Base with a rough texture to improve grip and give it a more premium finish
- Interior design for optimal fit with the can, minimizing contact.
- Design optimized for users with and without AMS
This model is part of a collection of themed koozies that will continue to grow gradually with new designs and can sizes.

Printing Instructions
Printing with AMS
The easiest way to print it. Simply load the colors and let the AMS do the work.
However, color changes generate a lot of material purge, so I recommend printing several koozies at once and sharing them with friends to greatly reduce waste per unit.
Printing without AMS
This model has also been specifically designed to be easily printed without AMS. It only requires 4 filament changes in total, which makes it a much more material-efficient option while still maintaining the multicolor look.
After printing, it will be necessary to glue the central front button.
Tip for button adjustment
To achieve the best possible fit, it is recommended to slightly soften the button with some heat or glue it right after printing, when the plastic is still somewhat flexible.
This way, the piece will adapt much better to the curvature of the koozie and the final finish will be cleaner and more uniform.
Although it requires a bit more manual work, this option reduces purges almost to a minimum.
Recommended settings
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Recommended PLA
- Infill: 8%
- No supports needed
- It is recommended to clean the bed well to improve adhesion
