Description

Cardputer ADV 2.8” XL Display Mod Case Set

This is the complete case set for my M5Stack Cardputer ADV 2.8” XL display mod.

The project replaces the original Cardputer bottom cover with a fully reversible custom solution featuring integrated hinges and a Nintendo DS-style opening mechanism.

This upload includes all main printed parts for the 2.8” XL version:

* Universal bottom cover with integrated hinges
* 2.8” XL display housing
* Internal display cover/back plate

Connector parts are not included in this upload.

Hardware & Assembly

* M3 screws used for hinge axes
* M2 screws used for display mounting
* Wiring must be adapted manually
* The 2.8” display PCB must be shortened by approximately 6 mm to fit correctly (see reference photos)

Printing Notes

* Supports required for some parts
* Drill hinge holes with a 3 mm drill after printing
* Carefully clean supports around hinges and small holes

Important Notes

* This is still an experimental prototype
* Geometry and mechanics may change in future versions
* More improvements and revisions are planned
