Description
Welcome to my Ludus, I am Lucius Gabrius and let me introduce you to one of our gladiators: The Secutor.
Look at this warrior, Editor! He is a marvel of specialization, engineered for the sole purpose of hunting the Retiarius. Notice the helmet, smooth and egg-shaped with tiny eye-holes; it is designed to be impenetrable to the trident's prongs and to offer no purchase for the net to snag, allowing him to stay relentless in the chase.
He is armed with the gladius, the short sword that has conquered nations, and carries the heavy scutum—the large, curved rectangular shield that provides almost total coverage. Protected by a manica on his sword arm and a single ocrea on his leading leg, he is a vision of stoic power. Pair him against a Retiarius and you will see a tactical masterclass of pressure and endurance that will have the senators cheering. This is not just a fight; it's a dance. A lethal one.
Don't trust my pictures, and try for yourself. I never sand mines after printing, and usually just use acrylic paints without priming it first, and print using probably a thicker layer than what I should because… I'm impatient LOL anyway, they look better in real life than in my pictures!
