Bring your tabletop battlefield to life with this detailed Heavy Tactical Mech Suit.

This model represents a futuristic mechanized soldier, equipped with heavy power armor and a massive tactical blade.

Created with a focus on gritty realism, it is perfect for sci-fi enthusiasts, miniature painters, and tabletop gamers looking for a unique centerpiece.

Sorrow Expeditionary Forces

Main Features:

  • High-Detail Sculpt: meticulously designed for a realistic "used future" look.
  • 3D Print Optimized: The geometry is refined to ensure clean details and easy support removal.
  • Expert Painter's Canvas: Features various textures (metallic, fabric, weathered) that make it an excellent project for practicing advanced painting techniques like dry brushing and edge highlighting.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA (Grey or Olive Green for a tactical look) or Resin for maximum detail.
  • Layer Height: 0.08mm on 0.2mm Nozzle (Optimal) or 0.12mm for a good balance of speed and quality.
  • Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid recommended).
  • Supports: Required (Organic/Tree supports recommended for the sword and backpack areas).

The model can be scaled:

By default, the profile is suitable for 32mm bases, but it also looks great scaled to display size at 150mm height. At this size, it will also be more detailed and the supports will be easier to remove.
If you scale it to 150mm or more, I recommend reinforcing the supports with at least two "Support Wall Loops" in the Supports section of Bambu Studio.

⚠️ Be careful when removing the supports: Given the complexity of the model and the presence of fine details, I recommend removing the supports with extreme caution. I strongly recommend using precision tweezers and sharp model-making cutters. Work slowly, starting with the least visible areas, to avoid damaging the most fragile parts. Rushing and using force won't help you; instead, use calm, patience, and gentleness, and the model will come out of its protective cage safe and sound.

I hope you enjoy this model as much as I enjoyed creating and printing it!
If you print it, don't forget to upload your photos, I'm eager to see your creations!
Just a reminder: I share these models not for profit, but out of passion, for my collection of miniatures, and to keep my printer busy while trying to push the technical capabilities of the A1 Mini to the limit.
