Description

Welcome to my Ludus, I am Lucius Gabrius and let me introduce you to one of our gladiators: The Hoplomachus.

Look at this warrior, Editor! He is the living legacy of the Greek phalanx adapted for our Roman sands. Notice the parmula, that small but impenetrable circular shield of bronze; it requires far more skill to use than the heavy scutum, allowing him to remain agile and fast.

He is armed with the hasta, a heavy spear that keeps his opponents at a distance. Protected by high ocreae on both legs and his signature plumed helmet, he is a vision of martial elegance. Pair him against a Murmillo and you will see a tactical masterclass that will have the senators cheering. This is not just a fight; it is history in motion.

Don't trust my pictures, and try for yourself. I never sand mines after printing, and usually just use acrylic paints without priming it first, and print using probably a thicker layer than what I should because… I'm impatient LOL anyway, they look better in real life than in my pictures!
