Click-In Profile for L-BOXX Dolly / Roll Board
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a simple click-in mounting profile for L-BOXXes that allows you to securely attach them directly to a dolly or wooden roll board. Just screw the two printed profiles onto your board and you can click an L-BOXX stack onto it exactly like on the original Bosch systems.
The connection is surprisingly strong. I was even able to lift a stack of 4 loaded L-BOXXes just by holding the handle of the top box without the bottom one disconnecting from the board. Makes transporting stacks around the workshop much easier.
You only need 4 wood screws (4–4.5 mm) to mount the two profiles, one on each side of the L-BOXX. Before installing, you should first remove the small white plastic protection caps from the four bottom corners of the L-BOXX. Otherwise, they sit too high to properly fit into another L-BOXX or into these mounting profiles.
To position the profiles correctly:
- Place the L-BOXX centered on your board.
- Slide the profiles lightly over the red locking hooks on both sides.
- Do not press the red hooks in while positioning them. The hooks should stay in their relaxed position.
- Once you feel resistance, it can help to pull the profiles back out by around 1–2 mm to make sure nothing binds later.
- When everything lines up nicely, trace around the profiles with a pencil.
- Remove the L-BOXX and screw the profiles down.
After that, the L-BOXX simply clicks onto the board and locks in place securely.
Material Recommendation:
- PLA works.
- For higher strength and long term durability, I recommend ABS. If printing in ABS, definitely use a brim to reduce warping.
Happy printing and workshop organizing!
