Description

Another case to protect your precious NeeDoh! This time around, it's the Funky Pup. This case contains custom cutouts for the feet and ears to protect your Pup perfectly. The case also has print-in-place hinges, making it even easier to print. Includes a version with- and without the logo on the lid.

I'm actively tracking down other NeeDohs, with more case designs on the way. Let me know which case you want next!

I'm guessing they're different enough so as not to fit the Teenie Cool Cat case that I have? I know the bigger Funky Pup had large ears that needed a unique fit

unless it’s a really complex model it should just take a few days. the gumdrop took me one evening to make the model, and then yhw fist print needed the latch adjusted .2mm to fit perfectly. so it was 2 rounds of prototypes and I took photos the next afternoon

could you make it so it takes less filament?

you can reduce the number of outer layers, as well as the infill percentage to get it down a bit. It may make it nominally weaker, but should reduce it for you

Oh...I think I can square off the corners of the box, too. Let me see how far that reduces things

I tried chopping off the corners of the case (kind of rounding it off with a chamfer) but it only went from 68g to 64g. Looks like there's not much more to trim unfortunately
