Description
Welcome to my Ludus, I am Lucius Gabrius and let me introduce you to one of our gladiators: The Murmillo.
Look at him, Editor! He is the 'Fish Man', the titan of the sands. Notice the magnificent cassis cristata, that heavy bronze helmet with its prominent dorsal fin crest; it doesn't just protect, it intimidates. He carries the massive scutum, a wall of wood and brass that makes him an impenetrable fortress, paired with the lethal gladius for those precise, finishing thrusts.
With his right arm shielded by the manica and his left leg guarded by the ocrea, he is built for the long, grueling grind of the heavy-class combat. He is the perfect counter for a Thraecian or a Retiarius. If you want a spectacle of pure Roman strength and discipline that will keep the crowds on the edge of their seats, this Murmillo is your champion.
Don't trust my pictures, and try for yourself. I never sand mines after printing, and usually just use acrylic paints without priming it first, and print using probably a thicker layer than what I should because… I'm impatient LOL anyway, they look better in real life than in my pictures!
