Description

A durable replacement knob for outdoor faucets with a squared shaft. Designed to be printed in ASA for long-term outdoor performance.

The rounded 6-point star shape isn't just aesthetic. Its ribbed profile and rounded points distribute grip naturally across the hand, making it easy to turn even with wet hands. Structurally, the geometry spreads mechanical stress across the entire part rather than concentrating it at any single point, so it holds up to repeated use without breaking at a weak spot along layer lines.

A 16mm M3 bolt and captive nut lock the knob firmly onto the faucet shaft, preventing slipping under torque.

Print Settings

  • Material: ASA (required for UV and weather resistance)
  • Hardware: 16mm M3 bolt + M3 nut (captive)
  • Bed adhesion: Apply a glue stick to the print surface. Any residue on the face of the part can be cleaned off with steel wool after printing.
