Rain collector for downpipe DN60

A rain collector that simply works – no frills, no clogging. This rain collector for DN60 downpipes uses a double-walled collection concept, where rainwater is collected in a side channel and drained via the 1"-/24‑mm outlet with a 15° incline.

The design is deliberately made so that large amounts of water, leaves, and dirt can easily flow downwards. This keeps the downpipe fully functional, and the collector works reliably without maintenance.

A robust, practical model for anyone who wants to use rainwater efficiently – and values a clever, discreet solution.

We have printed this model with PLA so far, and it works without problems even outdoors. For this, we attached a flexible hose with a hose clamp to the outlet.

The model should be even more robust for outdoor use with PETG.

When removing the supports, don't forget the supports in the outlet.
