Description
Repair of the Indicator Stalk – Citroën Berlingo 96605680XT.
The indicator stalk in my company Citroën Berlingo started drooping/falling down on its own. It reached a point where it was no longer functional. In this specific model, the stalk is sold as a single integrated unit with the electronics; unlike other versions where you can replace just the lever or buy a small repair kit.
Since the car is from 2007, brand-new replacement parts are no longer available.
I initially bought a used replacement, but it was faulty—while the indicators worked, the headlights would randomly cut out and the fog lights would turn on by themselves.
I decided to fix it myself. I managed to force the stalk out of the housing, and from there, the rest of the repair was straightforward.
I used a 3D print made of Nylon PA12 to complete the fix.
