Boost Me (for free)

After many hours of design and testing, here is finally the complete chassis of my urban sanitation truck inspired by the Scania P340. The rest of the model will arrive soon, always for free. I wanted to publish the chassis for those who wish to reuse it for their own projects.

Detailed chassis inspired by urban sanitation trucks, entirely designed in CAD and optimized for FDM 3D printing.

The goal of the project was to create a chassis that is:

  • realistic in proportions
  • simple to print
  • easy to assemble
  • robust and modular

All components were designed with home FDM printing in mind.

  • Most parts print without supports
  • Necessary supports are easily removed in minutes
  • Optimized for standard 0.4 mm nozzles
  • Tested in PLA

Many components use:

  • interlocking features
  • guides
  • automatic alignments

to make assembly simple and precise.
