Flight footage here

I decided to release this model as the demand went higher than I could provide for. I do not have any recommended print settings other than to say you MUST print in TPU if you want this pod to have it's best durability.

This Pod was designed specifically for the Spaceone Aurora 5" stretch racing frame that is single plate carbon, found here

I have not tested this on the version with removable arms. It should also fit the true X 5" they sell. I have not tested on the 4"/3" but aurora but they all look very similar.

This was designed originally for runcam micro swift 2 with a 2.3 lense, the camera is at 50 deg but there is some play up/down about 10 deg. on a 2.1mm lense there is a little less play, maybe only 5 deg. I currently fly runcam micro sparrow 2 with the stock 2.1 lens and it is fully protected (as shown in green drone in photos)

The only micro cam this is not designed to fit, and I have verified is not going to fit, is the Runcam Micro eagle. The lens is too large.

More details on the full build and some design thoughts can be found here. This is my setup for the 2018 Multigp season.

To install, you can use the stock 10-14mm M3x0.5 screws that come with the frame, I thread them from inside the pod (the holes are undersized, be patient), and finish with an M3x0.5 lock nut underneath the carbon. With TPU you can bend the rib on the side down out of the way for USB access so you do not always have to remove the pod to adjust betaflight settings.

If you are brave, or lazy, or both, you can just take the stock screws and go from beneath through the carbon and thread direclty into the TPU. while the screws are a little loose, the design does tuck under a 4-1 ESC and I flew for several months like that without a loose or lost pod. but the lock nuts are the right way to go, plus you get extra rigidity on the main 4 arcs of the pod.
