Cling Film Toy Airplane
Print Profile(1)

Description
A toy airplane made on a whim
3D Printed the airplane frame, then attached cling film as wings
To be honest, the flight performance is not very stable, but sometimes it flies quite well
I'm very sorry, I don't really know how to improve it, but it was interesting to try, and it only weighs 5g
How to make it:
Ensure the build plate is clean before printing
The printed airplane has grooves. I initially wanted to design it to use strips to secure the cling film, but after several attempts, I couldn't get the size right, so I abandoned that plan. However, the grooves were kept to facilitate applying glue. I used 401 glue, first applying it to one groove, laying down the cling film, then using the thin strip printed along with it to press down on the glued groove. Once the glue set and bonded firmly, I glued the next groove. There are 4 in total; the horizontal groove at the tail doesn't necessarily need to be glued. After all are glued, press down on the edge of the airplane and use a knife to cut off the excess cling film
If interested, you can adjust the airplane's dimensions, size, or thickness in Bambu Studio, and perhaps the flight performance will be different
