How a Traditional Snake Charming Flute Works

The traditional Indian snake charming flute, called a Pungi or Been, creates its mystical sound through steady airflow and finger-controlled notes. The player blows gently into the instrument while covering different holes to change the melody 🎵

Experienced players often use slow, continuous breathing techniques, allowing the flute to produce sound for a surprisingly long time without interruption 🌬️

Although snakes cannot truly hear the music, cobras react to the movement of the flute and the charmer, creating the famous “dancing snake” illusion 🐍
