Description
I designed this “ribbon fish” organizer to keep my ribbon collection accessible but organized. It's a functional storage solution that brings a little bit of whimsy to your sewing or craft room!
This model would also work well for cord, washi tape, bias tape/binding, embroidery floss, or anything else “wrappable”.
Model Notes & Features
- Two sizes: The profile features one model for smaller ribbons (up to 0.8in) and a larger version for ribbons (up to 1.5in).
- Wall-Mountable: The fish eye doubles as a way to hang your “catch” for display on a hook or pegboard.
- Easy wrapping slots: The slots along the width of the model work well to secure the start of your ribbon. I use pins to secure the end of the wrap.
- Printing adjustments: I've adjusted the top layer printing settings for a neater top layer without ironing. I've also turned on variable layer height; if you want to speed up printing, you can turn this off.
