This is a print-in-place 4x6 photo album designed around photo sleeves I picked up from Michaels. (link in BOM below)
The album prints as one piece using PLA for the rigid covers/body and TPU for the flexible corner/spine sections. The TPU areas allow the album to open and close without separate hinges, screws, pins, or assembly. Just install your photo sleeves/photos and secure with included push pins.
The printed example shown in the photos was made as a Mother’s Day gift. The handwriting on that version was my daughter’s actual handwriting, and I helped turn it into a printed gift for her mom.
The uploaded model is the blank-cover version. That way you can add your own text, names, dates, images, logos, or artwork for whatever occasion you want.
The TPU I used was 95A. This produced a flexible hinge and is fully useable but required a moderate amount of force to open the book. For that reason, I uploaded a 2nd profile that has a .01" thinner hinge wall. I'd recommend that profile for 95A. TPU for AMS may work for printers without 2 nozzles but I haven't tested this yet.

Important notes:
- This is designed for 4x6 photo sleeves. Test your sleeves if using a different brand or style.
- This is not intended to be printed fully rigid. The flexible TPU sections are what make the spine work.
- Your printer setup needs to be capable of printing PLA and TPU in the same job.
- The model is blank on purpose so it can be personalized in the slicer before printing.
