Description
📦 Overview
This is a modern 3D printed lamp designed for a standard GU10 socket and GU10 spotlight bulbs.
The lamp was tested using a Philips Hue GU10 bulb together with a standard GU10 socket.
The design includes integrated cable routing, space for WAGO connectors, and a built-in strain relief for a clean and secure installation.
Three different versions of the lamp are included, each with the strain relief positioned differently.
This allows choosing the cable exit direction depending on personal preference or the intended placement location.

🧩 Assembly
- Insert the GU10 socket into the lamp body
- Install the GU10 bulb
- Route the cable through the base
- Connect the wiring using WAGO connectors
- Place the WAGO connectors into the integrated holder inside the base
- Secure the cable using the built-in strain relief
The strain relief is fastened using an M2.5x10 screw.
For easier assembly, I additionally re-drilled the strain relief holes using a 2 mm drill bit before inserting the screw.
Originally, the WAGO connectors were glued directly to the base plate.
The updated version now includes a dedicated holder area for easier positioning, although adhesive fixation is still recommended.

- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Infill: 15–20 %
- Supports: Not required
- Orientation: Print parts flat on the build plate

- PLA ✅
- PETG recommended for improved heat resistance

- Use only suitable LED GU10 bulbs to minimize heat generation
