Description

An easy print, this wall mount perfectly and securely mates with your Linksys Velop MX4000 series routers. The model shown was printed in Polymaker PolyTerra PLA in Army Green on Prusa Minis. Print the Case, the Mount, and two Keys. Assembly was done with a gel super glue. Cutouts in the Case provide adequate workable space for a screwdriver or driver to wall-mount.

Absolutely fantastic piece I cannot concur with the negative reviews Some images from previous reviewers show poorly printed parts with insufficient bed adhesion The two parts fit together perfectly printed on a Bambu X1C A small tip Arrange the two parts additionally vertically merged as a single file The support structure on the inside is not visible and thus you even have one component Keep up the great work Double boost is out

Similar to the comments below, the base mount isn’t flat so there is an awkward support layer. the base didnt print flat and warped at a corner. It’s a nice design that needs work but the biggest issue I have is the lack of open slots for the Routers bottom vents. The Linksys router uses the bottom vents to pull air through the tower and shoots the hot air out the top.

Other Issues:The bottom part doesn't print cleanly, the base and perimeter are prone to breaking away like supports, leaving holes I've printed it twice now, with other projects in between, but this one hasn't printed cleanly for me yet

so the top piece printed perfect when I tried with petg and pla. (2 different attempts). mount (bottom) messed up on both. like the previous picture someone had. it wants to do a Wavy edge and the guide triangles don't even both remove from the bottom piece. i also broke it down and did it over each individual piece for printing to make sure that wasn't the problem. this print caused the 1st 1st layer error I have gotten on this x1c gave it a 4 for effort and that half of it was perfect. minus 1 for the problem with bottom piece

For some reason the internal dims of your 'case' model part (where the router base sits) measures approx. 114mm x 114mm when the router base is a fair bit smaller..... around 86mm x 86mm. Is the scaling off in your uploaded print file perhaps? Love the design....just trying to figure out why its so much larger than measured before I print one for my routers. Cheers Matt

There is no scaling. The measurements are correct. What is likely the case is that you are using a different router; Linksys makes numerous of various widths and sizes. I made stands for only two of them.

You’re quite right as mine is a MX2000 which online measurements are given as 3.4inches (86mm) and match that I have measured too. But the dims for the MX4000 are actually given as smaller still…..at 3.1inches (79mm) which is why I thought I would check the scaling with you…. 114mm seemed larger than any of the online information.

Thank you so much for making this. I just printed this for my mx4300 and it fit perfectly. The only issue I had was the bottom portion seems to not be flat in the design uploaded so it creates supports underneath what should be a flat object and makes the print take much longer. The top printed perfectly.
