3D Project Description – ASUS Vivobook 45W Desk Charger Holder
A 3D project designed to practically organize and secure the 45W ASUS Vivobook laptop charger directly to the desk
The holder is designed to be mounted on a vertical structure, such as a false wall or panel on the desk, to keep the charger elevated, tidy, and easily accessible, avoiding cables scattered across the work surface
The structure features:
- shaped housing for the ASUS Vivobook 45W power supply;
- side opening for easier cable management;
- vertical mounting system using an interlocking design;
- compact and minimalist design suitable for modern desktop setups
The model was designed for printing in PLA High Speed, a recommended material for good structural rigidity, fast printing, and good surface quality
Usage Tips
To improve the stability of the charger within the slot, it is recommended to apply adhesive tape (e.g., electrical or fabric tape) in the contact area to increase grip and eliminate any play due to printing tolerances
It is also recommended to insert a small soft spacer in the lower part of the holder (such as rubber) to slightly elevate the charger. This measure helps keep the cable straighter, reducing bends and stress on the connector during daily use.
