IMPORTANT: For this model you´ll need to use glue. Some pieces (Depending on Filament used and 3D Printer) will fit perfectly in a way where mabe there´s no needed to use glue, even though I recommend you to use it (SuperGlue for small parts and SiliconGlue form big ones, ALSO THERE ARE SOME SMALL PARTS Where you´ll need to use small tools to manipulate them correctly notice this before starting to print).
For this project you´ll need to be very patient, as there´s a lot of very thin parts, due to the complexity of this model, also there´s lot´s of supports wich you´ll also need to remove very carefully. But as you can see the work is worth of your time :)
To have the full details/colours in some components you´ll need to use AMS or Multicolour systems, even though you can still print them in single colour.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Nismo represents the ultimate factory evolution of the legendary R34 GT-R platform, combining Nissan’s iconic all-wheel-drive performance with the motorsport engineering expertise of Nismo (Nissan Motorsports International), transforming the already legendary R34 into an even sharper, rarer, and more track-focused machine that became one of the most desirable Japanese performance cars ever created. Produced in extremely limited numbers during the final years of the R34 generation, the Nismo variants and conversion packages were developed using knowledge gained directly from endurance racing and the GT500 Super GT program.
At its core sits the legendary RB26DETT 2.6-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six, officially rated at 276 horsepower due to Japan’s gentleman’s agreement, though real output was significantly higher and often exceeded 330 horsepower in factory form, paired with a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission and Nissan’s advanced ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel-drive system, capable of dynamically distributing torque between the front and rear wheels for incredible grip and stability under all conditions. Combined with the Super-HICAS four-wheel steering system, the R34 Nismo delivered exceptional agility and cornering precision despite its relatively compact dimensions.
The Nismo treatment focused heavily on improving chassis rigidity, aerodynamics, and responsiveness. The car featured upgraded suspension tuning, reinforced bushings, stiffer sway bars, improved cooling systems, and enhanced braking performance, all designed to sharpen the car’s behavior both on the road and the racetrack. Visually, the GT-R R34 Nismo became instantly recognizable thanks to its aggressive aerodynamic upgrades, including a redesigned front bumper with larger cooling ducts, side skirts, rear spats, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, and the iconic adjustable GT-style rear wing, all inspired by Nissan’s motorsport programs and engineered to improve high-speed stability and airflow efficiency.
One of the most famous versions was the Nismo Z-Tune, built using hand-selected low-mileage R34 chassis and re-engineered almost entirely by Nismo, featuring a stroked 2.8-liter Z2 RB engine producing around 500 horsepower, extensive use of carbon fiber body panels, race-derived suspension geometry, and bespoke aerodynamic development, becoming widely regarded as the ultimate Skyline GT-R ever produced. Only 19 Z-Tunes were ever built, making them some of the rarest and most valuable Japanese cars in existence.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Nismo became legendary not only because of its performance, but because it perfectly captured the golden era of Japanese engineering, combining advanced technology, tuning potential, motorsport heritage, and unmistakable styling into a machine that dominated video games, movies, street culture, and motorsport alike, ultimately cementing its place as one of the greatest and most iconic performance cars ever built.
For this model I´ve collaborated with Ddiaz Design, this way I´ll be able to release more cars with higher quality using as a starting point his repository meshes: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/2005-nismo-nissan-skyline-r34-gtr-z-tune-6a0e311f8c404fbaad783ed587014c1d
