Description:
This split connector allows the original HEAD tennis ball collector tube to be separated into two shorter sections for easier transport and storage.
The standard tube is quite long and can be inconvenient to transport in smaller vehicles or together with other tennis equipment. By cutting the tube into two parts and installing this connector, the collector tube becomes much more portable while still remaining stable during use.
The connector provides a secure friction fit between both tube sections. One side includes a slightly tapered locking section for a tighter hold. Once connected, the tube sections sit firmly together during normal use but can still be separated again using twisting and pulling force. The permanent connected part could be guled too.

Assembly
- Cut the original tube cleanly into two sections.
- Insert the connector into one side of the tube.
- Push the second tube section onto the remaining side.
- Slight rotation during assembly may help depending on fit.
- To separate the sections again, twist and pull simultaneously.
Printing Notes
- PETG or ASA recommended for durability
- PLA is possible but may soften in hot environments
- Higher wall count recommended for strength
- No supports required
