Husqvarna Automower Nera Replacement Wheel
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello!
Unfortunately, after 2 years, both the rear and front wheels of my Automower broke. The original parts are ball-bearing and run on a 6mm stainless steel shaft. Since I didn't want to pay over €40 per wheel, I decided to redesign them.
PETG-HF was used as the material, and as you can see from the photos or the print file, no ball bearings are installed; instead, the central 6mm bore runs directly on the shaft. To ensure lubrication, the bore in the center of the wheel is recessed, and before assembly, this cavity can be filled with a high-quality and ideally food-grade grease.
After printing, I reamed the bore with a 6H7 reamer to achieve a good fit on the shaft. However, a 6mm drill bit should normally also suffice.
I axially fixed the wheel on the shaft with an M4 screw, with one M6 washer on each side, resulting in
an axial play of approx. 0.5mm.
If you also need to thread an M4 screw into the shaft, I would strongly advise drilling the hole on a drill press or milling machine, and additionally, a good tap should be used, as the shaft appears to be hardened.
Thank you for your time, I hope you like this model! :-)
Depending on the durability of the wheels and the feedback here, I may create a plain bearing version in the future, either
with a bronze bushing or printed plain bearing material.
I would be very happy about a like or boost!
