Print Profile(2)

Description
Meteor BVRAAM Long-Range Air-to-Air Missile – Scale 1:48
This model represents the Meteor BVRAAM (Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile) in 1:48 scale and was developed as a detailed addition for modern jet models. It is ideal for displaying modern long-range loadouts and complements existing armament configurations with one of Europe's currently most powerful air-to-air systems
The characteristic design of the Meteor, with its compact control surfaces and distinctive fuselage shape, has been reproduced as faithfully as possible. At the same time, the model has been optimized for reliable 3D printing to ensure stable and clean printability on common FDM printers

Two Versions Included
The model includes two different variants (Image Left 0.4mm Right 0.2mm):
- 0.4 mm Hotend Version
Optimized for easy and reliable printability.
The side air intakes are depicted as closed in this version - 0.2 mm Hotend Version
For finer details and a more realistic representation.
In this variant, the air intakes are modeled open
Depending on the printer, settings, and desired level of detail, the appropriate version can be chosen
Possible Applications
The Meteor is particularly suitable for modern air superiority and interception configurations. Among other aircraft, it is used on the Eurofighter Typhoon and complements corresponding models with realistic BVR armament
Due to its sleek design, it can be easily combined with other weapon and tank systems and fits particularly well with modern NATO loadouts
Compatibility
The model was designed to visually integrate harmoniously with the style of COBI 1:48 scale aircraft
The images shown currently use an F/A-18 for illustration, as I do not currently have a COBI Eurofighter available
Community Note
If you mount the Meteor on a Eurofighter or another suitable model, feel free to post pictures in the comments.

Development
This model was designed at the request of Kit2925 and then specifically optimized for 3D printing. The focus was on good printability, stable construction, and the most realistic implementation possible in 1:48 scale
