A simple adapter that converts a standard painter pole with a 3/4"-5 ACME thread to a tapered push-fit connection for floor squeegees, broom heads, and other tools that use a friction-fit socket.
This adapter was designed to fit a metal window squeegee with a tapered handle socket, allowing you to use a telescopic painter pole for extended reach. I secured mine with pop rivet as shown in the photos.

Why I Designed This
I wanted to attach a commercial window squeegee to a telescopic painter pole. The squeegee used a tapered press-fit socket, while the pole had a standard ACME threaded end.
Rather than buying a dedicated extension handle, I designed this adapter to bridge the two systems.
Print Settings
Recommended settings:
- Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Walls: 5+
- Infill: 60%
- Top/Bottom Layers: 6+
- Supports: No
- Orientation: Print upright with the threaded side facing down

- Female thread: 3/4"-5 ACME (standard painter pole thread)
- Male end: Custom tapered insert sized for many friction-fit squeegee sockets
