This decorative Baroque Elf Frame combines a playful, ornamental frame with a delicate elf at its center. The combination of black PLA and golden Rub’n Buff creates a noble vintage/antique look that goes particularly well with fantasy, gothic, witchy, or baroque decor.
The model consists of two separate printed parts:
The frame and the elf are printed separately. This allows the elf to be post-processed more cleanly and later precisely placed on the frame.
The elf requires supports, especially due to its delicate wings and details. After printing, the elf can be carefully freed from the supports and then attached to the frame with a little superglue on the wingtips.
For the example shown, black PLA was used and then finished with golden Rub’n Buff. This makes the ornaments, wings, and fine details stand out beautifully.
Perfect as wall decor, altar decor, a fantasy gift, or as a special 3D printing project for anyone who loves detailed decorative models.
Printing Instructions:
Print frame and elf separately.
The elf requires supports.
After printing, glue the elf to the frame at the wingtips with superglue.
For an antique look, black PLA with golden dry brushing or Rub’n Buff is suitable.
